Emerge of the Church

Our nation has becom one of the biggest mission fields in the world because there are so many more people that have come from different backgrounds and who don't personally know God. Therefore we might need to change the way we do things in our ministries to appeal to this new generation.

One way society has changed is there is more than just God. There are gods from different religions. Therefore, when we say that God loves someone, we might need to clarify who we are talking about.

Gift of Worship

The video talked about what worship should mean to us in our hearts. It is not about the feelings we  receive from the music. In worship we are offering up our lives and our gifts to God in thanks. Therefore it doesn't matter how we look on stage or what the technicalities of the music are but rather us taking the role as servants.
      This message spoke to me in that in the grand scheme the music doesn't need to be perfect. God already knows our hearts. This message reminds me that leading worship isn't just a performance of a routine but rather a time to be in God's presence and thank him for our salvation.
